The Kairalee Nikethan Education Trust is a registered Public Trust. It is a body of philanthropists committed to voluntary service for the cause promoting education. Its first school was established by Kerala Samajam in 1956 at a rented premises in car street, Ulsoor. The same school is now housed in its own premises in Marappa Road, Ulsoor, Bangalore. Over the past 50 years, the growth of our Institutions has been phenomenal in respect of building infrastructure and SSLC/PUC results. The Trust has eight institutions located in four different campus. They are: - 1) Kairalee Kikethan Primary School & Kairalee Nikethan Nursary School. 2) Indiranagar Nursery & Primary School. 3) Indiranagar High School. 4) Kairalee Nikethan English High School. 5) Indiranagar Composite P.U. College. 6) Kairalee Nikethan Composite P.U. College. 7) KNE Trust Independent P.U. College and 8) Indiranagar Evening College.

       The Trust aims at imparting quality education to students from Nursery to graduates levels. BCA, BBM Degree colleges, affiliated to Bangalore University, will begin functioning from academic year 2007-08. PCMCs and EBACs, new combinations, will be introduced in the in the Indiranagar P.U. College. PGDBA and PGDHRM, new post-Graduate Diploma courses, are the additional courses being introduced from 2007-08 in our Evening Degree College.

       This is the Golden Jubilee year of KNET and, to mark this event, a new school building will soon be constructed at Indiranagar. This building, named, ‘Golden Jubilee Building’, will house a full-fledged nursery and primary section with ICSE orientation.

       All our institutions are co-educational with well-qualified and experienced teachers. The institutions aim at providing opportunity, guidance and encouragement to students in acquiring quality education. We give priority to developing, among students, a positive attitude and a healthy personality.
